Terms of trade
Kaizen Auto Imports Ltd · Version 11 September 2026
Read these terms alongside your written quotation and invoice. Contact our team to confirm the arrangements for your vehicle.
1. Scope of agreement
These terms describe the vehicle supply and import arrangements offered by Kaizen Auto Imports Ltd. Read them with the invoice, vehicle specification and written quotation. Any agreed changes must be recorded in writing. Mandatory customer rights remain unaffected.
2. Vehicle identification
The sale relates to the vehicle identified on the invoice. The customer should check the model, chassis reference, year, condition report and equipment before confirming the order. Ask Kaizen to correct any discrepancy before making payment.
3. Prices and currency
Amounts are payable in the currency stated on the invoice. Freight, insurance, duties, taxes, port charges, registration and local delivery are included only where expressly identified in the written quotation or invoice.
4. Payment and reference
Pay by the due date using the verified company account shown on the invoice. Include the invoice number and customer name with the transfer. A transfer receipt is not confirmation of cleared funds; Kaizen will confirm receipt.
5. Bank charges and account changes
Responsibility for bank and currency-conversion charges must be confirmed in the quotation. Verify any proposed change to payment instructions through an established Kaizen contact before transferring funds. Do not rely solely on an unexpected message.
6. Order confirmation
A booking request is subject to availability and written confirmation from Kaizen. Auction bids, deposits and any non-refundable costs must be explained and agreed before a purchase commitment is made.
7. Condition and inspection
Used vehicles may show wear consistent with their age and use. Inspection sheets and photographs describe the reported condition at the time of inspection. Any warranty or additional inspection commitment must be stated in writing.
8. Shipping arrangements
The invoice identifies the agreed shipping basis and destination where known. Sailing dates, vessel names and arrival dates may change. Kaizen will provide available updates; estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.
9. Insurance and risk
Cargo insurance, responsibility for arranging cover and the point at which transport risk transfers must be confirmed in the written quotation. Do not assume a shipment is insured unless cover has been expressly confirmed.
10. Import requirements
Kaizen and the customer should confirm the applicable destination requirements before purchase. Responsibility for permits, customs clearance, taxes, inspection and registration must be allocated in the written quotation.
11. Customer and consignee details
Provide accurate identity, contact and consignee information and promptly confirm corrections. Changes after shipping documents are issued may cause delays or third-party amendment charges, which should be explained before acceptance.
12. Documents and customer portal
Available invoices, vehicle photographs and shipping documents are shared through the customer portal or another agreed channel. Original documents, where required, are released and dispatched under the agreed payment and delivery arrangements.
13. Arrival and collection
Kaizen will advise the customer of available arrival and collection information. The parties should agree responsibility for clearance and collection. Any storage or demurrage costs must be supported by the applicable provider information.
14. Cancellation and refunds
Request cancellation in writing as early as possible. Kaizen will explain the order status, any agreed or unavoidable third-party costs and the proposed refund calculation. Refunds remain subject to applicable law and written agreement.
15. Concerns and claims
Report a delivery discrepancy, visible transport damage or document issue promptly with photographs and supporting records. Keep relevant packaging and reports where useful. Kaizen will review the concern and discuss the next steps.
16. Delays outside either party’s control
Port disruption, carrier changes, severe weather or official restrictions may affect performance. The affected party should provide timely notice and discuss practical alternatives. Any revised costs or arrangements require clear communication.
17. Personal information
Customer information is used to administer enquiries, purchases, payments, shipping and support. Relevant information may be shared with service providers where needed for these purposes. Contact Kaizen with questions or correction requests.
18. Resolution and legal rights
Please raise any disagreement with Kaizen first so it can be reviewed. Any governing-law or dispute-resolution arrangement must be agreed consistently with applicable law. These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
